In 2019, I took a leap of faith and started my first business-  a cleaning company with a strong vision and the determination to do things the right way. Like many first-time entrepreneurs, I wanted my business structured properly from the start. I went to file what I believed was an LLC, trusting the guidance I received during the process.

 

Later, I discovered my business had been filed as a sole proprietorship, not an LLC as intended.

 

That experience was disappointing and discouraging. I had been clear about my goals, yet I left the process misinformed, out time and money, and unsure of my next steps. But instead of allowing that setback to stop me, I made a decision that changed everything I committed to learning the ins and outs of business formation, structure, and compliance so I would never be in that position again.

 

As I continued learning, I realized how common my experience truly was.

 

So many people have incredible business ideas but don’t move forward because they don’t know how to take their vision off paper and execute. Others have already started businesses but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure whether their business was set up correctly in the first place. They have questions, need clarity, and want guidance but don’t know where to turn.
